When I took my first course with Jayesh Shah in India in 1995, his refined style of casetaking, analysis and teaching amazed me. It struck me already then that his way of thinking and dealing with his cases was very different and special. Consequently I decided to continue my studies with him and his colleagues of the "Bombay School".
In fact all the participants of this course were so impressed too, that they also wished to go on studying with him and we set up a series of seminars in Switzerland.
I felt the need to somehow "keep" his teachings and started taping the seminars and transcribed them on the computer. At that time, there were no written texts of the cases presented at the seminars at all.
With the evidence of the written seminar scripts it became even more obvious how unique Jayesh´es way of thinking and dealing with his patients were.
It always seemed a shame that his teachings were limited just to the participants of his seminars. I thought that his ideas should be spread to a wider audience. Long discussions with Jayesh followed. After many he finally agreed to let us publish the transcriptions as a book. My wife, Gariba Schröder, supported my wish for publication full-heartedly and got involved too.
To be able to publish, the most direct, quickest and least complicated way appeared to be the foundation of our own publishing company. That´s how the Schröder Burmeister Verlag ( SBV ) was "born"
The transcript of the Münster seminar of 2001 was published and Jayesh´es unique thought processes can now be shared amongst a wider circle of homoeopaths and others who are interested. Therefore the material is as authentic and lively as possible.
The book has been carefully edited and includes all the new ideas and materials from the last few years as well. This first book shows the development of Jayesh´es thought processes concerning the first several rows of the periodic table.
